Congratulations, you're now a PADI Divemaster!

After you accomplish your PADI Divemaster rating, the next step to work in the dive industry is becoming a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI). Roatan Divers is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center and we offer instructor training through the PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC), a two-week intensive training course that focuses on teaching you how to, well, teach!

PADI Instructor Course Roatan Divers

As a PADI OWSI you are able to teach various levels of PADI certifications. Divemasters primarily act as a guide for certified divers snorkelers, conduct a PADI ReActivate course, and Skin Diver. A PADI Open Water Instructor can teach everything a Divemaster does, plus certify students for the following:

  • PADI Discover Scuba Diving

  • PADI Scuba Diver

  • PADI Open Water & Advanced Open Water Diver

  • PADI Rescue Diver

  • PADI Divemaster

Working as a PADI Instructor is immensely rewarding. Not only do you get to now teach what you love, you can work in so many parts of the world! From Roatan to Thailand, Iceland to the Philippines, there is no limit to where your dive passion can take you.

Are you ready to take the next step in your professional career? Learn more about the PADI Instructor Development Course and start teaching what you love today!

I’ve loved the ocean since I was a kid, and that feeling never went away. When I became a scuba instructor, it gave me the chance to share my love of diving with so many new people.
