We have our own dock for easy boarding, 4 custom designed dive boats, brand new Mares equipment, and a well maintained compressor. All located in the heart of West End, yet tucked away from the main road.

What you will learn?

The PADI Divemaster course teaches you to be a leader and take charge of dive activities.
Through knowledge development, waterskills exercises and workshops, you will develop the skills to organize and supervise some diving activities. Topics and practical workshops include:

  • The role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster

  • Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers

  • Diver safety and risk management

  • Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills

  • Business of diving and your career

  • Awareness of the dive environment

  • Dive setup and management a dive operation

  • Mapping an dive site

  • Conducting dive briefings

  • Organizing a search and recovery scenario and a deep dive

  • Conducting a ReActivate and Advanced Snorkeler Course

Prerequisites

  • 18 Years or Older (15 Years for Junior Divemaster)

  • Emergency First Aid and CPR Certification within 24 Months

  • Rescue Diver Certified

  • Minimum of 40 Logged Dives

 

Duration
& Availability

  • Our Divemaster Training takes 6 to 8 weeks. You can expect to be at the Shop 6 days per week from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

  • We accept Divemaster Candidates year round, with the exception of December. However, we maintain small groups to ensure personal attention for every Candidate.

  • eLearning Knowledge Reviews and 2 Exams

  • Development of an Emergency Action Plan and Rescue Diver Scenario

  • 5 Water Skills Exercises

    5 Practical Skills Applications and 4 Practical Assessments

  • 4 Bonus RD Workshops; 6 if completing Eco-Divemaster Program

  • Divemaster Program: $900 including taxes

  • Eco-Divemaster Program: $1,340 including taxes and:

    • Lionfish License

    • Coral Restoration Course

    • PADI Underwater Naturalist Specialty

  • Prices do not include Divemaster E-Learning Materials ($270) or PADI Fees ($150)
