Roatan is a Caribbean paradise located 40 miles off the North Coast of Honduras. Our passionate dive community is immersed in a tiny town that has all the amenities of a big city - with pristine, white sandy beaches and lush jungle hills a stone's throw away.

Designated as a Marine Protected Area, our backyard is home to the second largest barrier reef in the world! The diverse marine ecosystem includes both hard and soft corals, endangered sea turtles, eagle rays, sea slugs, sharks, dolphins, and so much more. Dive sites are easily accessible by boat, with a majority of sites located 5 to 10 minutes away from our Shop on the North West side of the Island.

SLOW AND EASY CARIBBEAN LIVING.

West End is a safe, walkable town located a quick 20 minute car ride from the International Airport in Coxen Hole. The island is a melting pot of different cultures, restaurants, and activities. Whether you are into SCUBA, free diving, yoga, or music - you can find your niche here. English is widely spoken on the Island, or you can improve your Spanish by taking any of the readily available language classes.

Getting Around THE ISLAND OF ROATAN.

Roatan boasts both a low cost of living as well as an easy to navigate public transportation system. Rentals range anywhere from $300 to $600 per month, while “colectivo” taxis are able to take you wherever you need to go, with most rides costing between $1.50 to $2.00.

The town is sprinkled with small fruit stands and shops to provide you with the basics, with two larger grocery stores located between 10 and 20 minutes outside of town.

In terms of currency, both USD and HNL are accepted, as long as the US bills are free from damage. Several ATMs can be found in West End, as well as in the grocery store in Coxen Hole. Credit card is accepted in some establishments, while many others will accept PayPal.

With such ease of living, it’d be hard not to enjoy your time on Roatan.
